How can I rent the trailer?

Calculate the rental price easily using the rental price calculator on this page and then send your inquiry via the inquiry form. We will check availability and get back to you as soon as possible.
How quickly will I receive a response?

You will usually receive feedback from us shortly. We will inform you about availability and all further steps.
How do I pay?

You can conveniently pay by cash, EC card, PayPal, or bank transfer. You will receive all payment details in advance with your booking confirmation. Payment is usually made when picking up the trailer.
How much is the deposit?

The deposit for the Neptun trailer is 100 €. The deposit for the Besttrailers car trailer is 500 €. The deposit is paid upon collection. Upon proper and broom-clean return, you will of course receive your deposit back in full.
What is included in the trailer rental?

The Neptune trailer is rented out fully equipped with tarpaulin, bows and jockey wheel and is ready for immediate use. The Besttrailers car trailer is rented out with a winch and ramps and is ready for immediate use. Upon handover, you will receive personal instructions for safe and uncomplicated use.
Which connection does the trailer have?

The trailer has a 7-pin plug. If your vehicle has a 13-pin connection, we will, of course, provide you with a suitable adapter.
Where can I pick up the trailer?

You can pick up the Neptun trailer at our locations in Pettstadt near Bamberg or Bad Berka near Weimar. The Besttrailers car trailer can only be picked up in Pettstadt near Bamberg. You will receive the exact address and all details with your booking confirmation.
Is a briefing included with the pickup?

Yes, you will receive a personal introduction when you pick it up. We will explain everything you need to know about the safe use of the trailer.
What should I consider when returning the trailer?

The trailer must be returned swept clean and in proper condition. Normal wear and tear from use is, of course, not an issue.
What are the requirements for my vehicle?

Your vehicle needs a tow hitch and the corresponding trailer socket. The Neptun trailer is designed for transport with a passenger car.
Do I need a special driver's license?

Neptun Trailers: In most cases, a Class B driver's license is sufficient. A prerequisite is that your vehicle is approved for trailer operation.

Besttrailers Car Trailers: For this trailer, a Class BE driver's license is usually required, as the permissible gross weight of the combination exceeds 3.5 t – please check the combination of towing vehicle and trailer in advance.
Can I also rent the trailer at short notice?

Yes, last-minute requests are possible. You can easily check availability using the inquiry form.
