If you want to do something really good for your beloved qeedo Light Birch M trekking tent on a trek, you should use the tent footprint for additional protection for the tent floor. The Light Birch M Groundsheet not only provides a well-prepared and smoother surface, but also protects the actual tent floor as well as the sleeping mat, air mattress, or trekker from sharp stones, long pine needles, nasty thorns, or biting insects.

Thanks to the double floor, the tent interior is also better insulated against the nightly cold from below. In addition, the tent footprint protects against condensation and prevents moisture from rising from the ground into the tent. This means the tent doesn't need long drying times before packing up, and it can be comfortably set up and taken down on the tent footprint. The dirty and wet tent footprint can simply be stored in the included separate packing bag. The tent itself can then be stored more easily and, above all, more cleanly after disassembly.


1. Application

The precisely fitting footprint is laid out on the ground before the actual tent, and the tent is simply attached to the designated eyelets. Then, both the tent and the footprint are secured with pegs simultaneously. To help with orientation as to which corner belongs where, a red loop has been added to both the trekking tent and the tent footprint. This immediately makes it clear where everything goes. The stable and durable polyethylene material of the footprint is long-lasting and particularly robust. The tent footprint alone can also help find the right pitch for the tent or mark it on the campsite.
