Anyone who wants to do something truly good for their beloved qeedo Light Spruce S trekking tent on a trek should use the tent footprint for additional protection for the tent floor. The Light Spruce S Groundsheet not only provides a well-prepared and smoother surface but also protects the actual tent floor, as well as the sleeping mat, air mattress, or the hiker, from sharp stones, long pine needles, nasty thorns, or biting insects.

Thanks to the double floor, the tent interior is also better insulated against the night's cold from below. Furthermore, the tent footprint protects against condensation and prevents moisture from rising from the ground into the tent. This means the tent doesn't require long drying times before packing up, and the tent can be comfortably set up and taken down on the tent footprint. The dirty and wet tent footprint can simply be stored in the provided separate carry bag. The tent itself can then be stored more easily and, above all, more cleanly after dismantling.


1. Application

The precisely fitting footprint is laid out on the ground before the actual tent, and the tent is simply attached to the designated eyelets; then, both the tent and the footprint are simultaneously secured with pegs. For better orientation of which corner belongs together, one loop on both the trekking tent and the tent footprint has been colored red. This immediately clarifies where everything goes. The sturdy and durable polyethylene material of the footprint is long-lasting and particularly robust. The tent footprint alone can also be helpful in finding the right pitch for the tent or marking it on the campsite.
